Smarter tax handling on scanned expenses

When you scan an invoice, Nuvio now infers tax automatically from what it reads, applying it at the line level or header level and matching it to your company's tax setup.

Ask Nuvio AI about your finances in plain language

Chat completions now handle vague spending categories like "marketing" or "travel" by resolving them to real records across tags, projects, products, and parties. Now you can ask "what's my marketing spend" and Nuvio AI will auto-categorize even if you have no tags on your expenses. You also get per-currency cash flow breakdowns and more accurate filtering when you ask about specific customers, suppliers, or products.

AI that keeps working when one provider is down

Nuvio now uses a multi-provider AI setup with automatic failover, so scanning and chat stay available even when one provider has trouble.

More reliable document uploads

PDF scanning now handles a wider range of real-world files, including PDFs with non-standard headers, varied content types from browsers, and embedded files inside e-invoice PDFs.

Nuvio 4 is here, and it is built around one idea: less typing, more clarity. Snap or upload a receipt and AI fills in the details. Forward an invoice by email and it lands in your inbox as a draft. Income and expenses got a full redesign, and Nuvio AI is smarter and easier to talk to.

Capture expenses from a photo or upload

Upload a receipt or invoice and Nuvio AI reads the supplier, date, total, and tax into a reviewable draft. You review what it found instead of filling in every field by hand.

Forward invoices straight into Nuvio

Send invoices to your Nuvio scanning address and they show up in a new Drafts tab, already scanned and tagged by where they came from. Email-to-expense, without the manual entry.

A redesigned income and expense flow

Creating and editing income and expenses is rebuilt from the ground up. Pick Easy or Advanced entry, enter the amount, view your receipt side by side, and save from a sticky bar that stays put as you work.

Nuvio AI, rebuilt

The AI chat has a new interface with searchable history, a redesigned session sidebar, one-click copy, and credit usage tracking. Ask questions about your finances in plain language and get answers from an upgraded model.

Collaborate on any entry

Leave comment threads on income and expense records so your team can discuss a transaction without switching to email or Slack.

See your numbers at a glance

Summary cards now show sparklines and period-over-period changes, so you can spot trends in income and expenses without digging through tables.
